Khasab Region ( North of Oman )

The Sultanate is divided into nine governorates and regions. Each governorate consists of states share common cultures, habits. Oman is known for its popular tourist attractions Wadis, (a dry river bed) deserts, beaches, and mountains are areas which make Oman unique to its neighboring GCC nations (Wadis in particular). Jebel Shams is Oman's tallest mountain, highest point, (3,000 metres high) and is a popular destination for camping. Jebel Al Akhdhar (Green mountain) known for its beautiful landscape and windy roads has the best roses grown and processed to roase water by the locals.
Other popular tourist activities include sand skiing in the desert, mountain-climbing, racing, and turtle watch, camping in the sand dunes and dolphin watch.
